Each with an industry-leading track record of product innovation, Sweet Green Fields and Tate & Lyle have teamed together to launch Zolesse, a glycosylated stevia extract that may be labeled as natural flavor per the FDA Definition.
Sweet Green Fields was named as a “IFT 2018 Company to Watch” as one of the leading global stevia extract innovators that pursues the goal of creating the most sugar-like stevia with products that meet consumer demand for taste, low/zero calorie, cost and sustainability. Tate & Lyle is a leading global provider of food and beverage solutions and ingredients.
According to their press release, the new product innovation, Zolesse, is a new natural flavor that supports an effort to help food and beverage manufacturers deliver great-tasting products that meet every growing consumer demand for clean label ingredients, at an optimized cost compared to alternatives.
Food and Beverage manufacturers are challenged to develop the cleaner label products that consumers are seeking. Non-GMO Project Verified Zolesse has a great synergy with other stevia products and when used together, Zolesse helps reduce bitterness, lingering and provides a more sugar-like taste. Zolesse also can be used with monk fruit extract and sugar, enhancing sugar intensity.
